Simply put, design thinking (DT) is people-centered problem solving, focusing on process as much as outcome. While this approach makes intuitive sense, it takes some time and practice to learn how to apply DT to real problems. In this session, we’ll explore the foundations of DT, including problem definition and empathy, ideation and prototyping, and reflection, before getting some hands-on practice applying it. Come with an open mind and a “wicked” problem you’d like to explore.
